After spending a couple of weeks on Öland, I have finally had some time to read some books. It feels great; it is tough finding spare time to do much else but taking care of family (and as much business as possible) right now.
Anyway, I have been longing to read Ray Kurzweil's "The Singularity is Near" for a long time now, and it is really awesome! It's a must-read for anyone who likes to think about the future, instead of merely awaiting it. And the future might be here quicker than you think ;)
The second book I've managed to read is Johan Norberg's latest "När människan skapade världen" (not in English yet). It is at least as inspiring as his earlier book "In defense of Global capitalism", but it also shares a lot of thoughts, facts and philosophy with the older book. Available as mass-market paperback from day 1 makes it a non-brainer to read this summer, especially if you haven't read the first one.

Adam Åke Mosseby
On June 4, our baby boy Adam was born. It is truly remarkable how fun it has been to get a second child. Everyone around me said things like: "Getting a second child makes things not twice as complicated - it gets even worse!", but reality for us has been the opposite. Adam is a pretty smooth sailor...PS. It has also helped having our fabulous grandparents around - without them, things would've been a little bit more complicated ;)

Playing the Angel - the concert
I went to Depeche Mode's concert in Stockholm yesterday. OMFG. It was REALLY good. It was my fifth Depeche concert, and maybe the best. Probably as good as my first one (World Violation Tour in Stockholm, 1990).
I was blown away by the fact that Martin Gore has stepped up and truly become the main person in the band. Being there when he was singing "Leave in silence" yesterday, was one of my best live music experiences. Martin has definitely been taking singing lessons ;)

Thirty-three minutes of useful mobility
I have been going by bus to work basically every day this fall, and it has been a really cool experience. First of all, I am able to work with my computer all the way, connected with my Telia 3G card. The data speeds are more than okay. Secondly, it is light-blazingly quick. This morning was a new record: I boarded the bus 06.07 outside of my house in Vaxholm, and jumped off by Stureplan at 06.40. That's a 33-minute ride, which is much faster than going by car.
